Mambazha Pulishery

Ingredients

  1. Mango ripe - 4
  2. Coconut grated - 1 cup
  3. Green chilly - 4
  4. Jeera - 1 tsp
  5. Turmeric- 1 tsp
  6. Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
  7. Curd or butter milk - 1 cup
  8. Mustard
  9. Dry red chilly
  10. Curry leaves
  11. Fenugreek seeds
  12. Fenugreek powder
  13. Salt to taste
  14. Oil
Cooking procedure
  1. Wash the mangoes peel off the skin cut into pieces.
  2. Add the mangoes to a hard bottom vessel and keep it for boiling.
  3. To it add turmeric powder, red chilly powder and salt.
  4. Let the mangoes get cooked.
  5. Meanwhile grind coconut,jeera and green chillies to smooth paste.
  6. Once the mangoes are cooked add the grinded mix to it and mix well. Let it get boil till its raw taste changes.
  7. Pour in butter milk or curd. Mix well. Check for salt if required add as per taste.
  8. Add fenugreek powder mix well and remove from flame.
  9. For seasoning keep a pan add some oil to it add mustard fenugreek seeds let it crack then add dry red chilly and curry leaves.
  10. Pour this seasoning to the curry and mix.
Serve with rice.
