Ingredients
- Mango ripe - 4
- Coconut grated - 1 cup
- Green chilly - 4
- Jeera - 1 tsp
- Turmeric- 1 tsp
- Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
- Curd or butter milk - 1 cup
- Mustard
- Dry red chilly
- Curry leaves
- Fenugreek seeds
- Fenugreek powder
- Salt to taste
- Oil
Cooking procedure
- Wash the mangoes peel off the skin cut into pieces.
- Add the mangoes to a hard bottom vessel and keep it for boiling.
- To it add turmeric powder, red chilly powder and salt.
- Let the mangoes get cooked.
- Meanwhile grind coconut,jeera and green chillies to smooth paste.
- Once the mangoes are cooked add the grinded mix to it and mix well. Let it get boil till its raw taste changes.
- Pour in butter milk or curd. Mix well. Check for salt if required add as per taste.
- Add fenugreek powder mix well and remove from flame.
- For seasoning keep a pan add some oil to it add mustard fenugreek seeds let it crack then add dry red chilly and curry leaves.
- Pour this seasoning to the curry and mix.
Serve with rice.
