Ingredients
- Bread slices
- Milk
- Sugar
- Corn flour
- Vanilla essence
Method
Boil half litre of milk in a saucepan.
Meanwhile mix 1 and half tablespoon of corn flour to some milk.
Add required amount of sugar and mix well.
When the milk starts to boil add the corn flour mix
Cut the bread slices into small pieces and add to the boiling milk.
Add 1 tea spoon of vanilla essence.
Smash the bread well till it is soaked well.
Now to caramelize add 4 table spoon of sugar to it add 1 and half tablespoon of water in a tin which is used to mould the pudding.
Stir it till it turns to caramel color that is golden brown color.
Turn off the flame and transfer the bread and milk mix to it.
Now in a steamer pour water and cook the pudding for about 20 to 25 minutes.
Serve it cool.
