chicken curry

Ingredients
Chicken - 1 kg
Curd - 3 tbsp
turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
red chilly powder - 1 tbsp
pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
garam masala - 1/2 tsp
chicken masala - 1 tbsp
onion - 3 finely chopped
tomatoes - 3 finely chopped
garlic - 3-4 cloves
red chilly - 1
oil
salt
water
Corriander leaves



Method

Cut the chickens into small pieces and clean.
In a bowl mix red chilly powder, turmeric powder, pepper powder, garam masala and salt with curd.
Keep it aside for an hour.
During this time you can cut onions, tomatoes and garlic.
Heat oil in a deep bottom pan add onions and fry till it turns golden brown it will take around 10 to 15 mins.
Add garlic and saute it for some time.
Add tomatoes to it and saute till the oil separates out from it.
Add chicken masala at this stage and saute it for few seconds.
Add the chicken and mix it with the masala.
Close it with a lid and cook it for 15 mins.
If water is required add some water.
Once the chicken is cooked add the corriander leaves.
Turn off the flame and keep it closed for sometime.

Serve with rice or chapathi.
