Ingredients
Mushroom - 250 gms thinly sliced
onion - 2 medium sized sliced length wise
tomato - 1 and a half chopped
garlic - 3-4 cloves crushed
basmati rice - 500 gms
turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp
red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
garam masala - 1/4 tsp
salt
Method
Cook rice and strain it and keep aside.
In a pan heat oil saute garlic and onion till it is golden brown.
Add tomatoes, turmeric powder, chilly powder, salt and garam masala saute it for few seconds.
Add mushroom to it and mix well and cook it.
When it is done take a deep bottom bowl add masala and rice in small quantities and mix well repeat this for whole rice.
This can be had plain or with pickle or with raitha.
