Ingredients
- Aloo - 2
- peas - 1/2 cup
- onion - 1
- ginger - shredded 1 tsp
- garlic - crushed 2 cloves
- tomato - 1
- green chilly - 2
- turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
- corriander powder - 1 tsp
- garam masala - 1/2 tsp
- vegetable masala - 1 tsp
- cumin seeds
- ghee 1 tsp
- water as required
- Boil potatoes in a pressure cooker for 1 or 2 whistles.
- peal off the skin and cut them into cubes.
- cut onion and tomato.
- I have used frozen peas. If you don have that, you have to soak the peas for atleast 8 hrs and cook it.
- heat ghee in a wok, add cumin seeds when it sputter add green chilly, ginger and garlic. saute them.
- add onion and saute till it is transparent.
- add tomato, and all dry masala powders.
- saute them for few minutes.
- now add potato and peas mix them well so that the masalas are coated well.
- add water and boil it till the gravy turns thicker.
