Besan Ladoo

Ingredients
  1. besan - 1 cup
  2. rava/sooji - 1/4 cup
  3. powdered sugar - 1 cup
  4. ghee/clarified butter - 150 - 200 gm
  5. cardamom powder - 1 tsp
  6. dry fruits (optional)


Method
  1. Heat a heavy bottom pan add the ghee or butter. heat it till the ghee is in its boiling state.
  2. Reduce the heat and add besan and rava and mix well till it turns golden brown or leaves the bottom of the pan.
  3. Now add sugar and cardamom powder and mix well.
  4. Remove it from heat and allow it to cool.
  5. you can garnish it with dry fruits like cashewnut, almond or pista. (I haven't used them).
