Besan Ladoo |
Ingredients
- besan - 1 cup
- rava/sooji - 1/4 cup
- powdered sugar - 1 cup
- ghee/clarified butter - 150 - 200 gm
- cardamom powder - 1 tsp
- dry fruits (optional)
Method
- Heat a heavy bottom pan add the ghee or butter. heat it till the ghee is in its boiling state.
- Reduce the heat and add besan and rava and mix well till it turns golden brown or leaves the bottom of the pan.
- Now add sugar and cardamom powder and mix well.
- Remove it from heat and allow it to cool.
- you can garnish it with dry fruits like cashewnut, almond or pista. (I haven't used them).
