Ingredients
- Soya chunks - 1 cup soaked for 8 hrs
- onion
- tomato
- ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
- turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- red chilly powder - 1 tsp
- jeera - 1 tsp
- salt
- pressure cook the soya chunks for 2 whistle in salt water and let it stand till the pressure goes off.
- drain the water and run cold water through it.
- in a wok heat oil and sputter jeera.
- saute onion till it is transparent.
- add ginger and garlic paste and saute well.
- add tomato, turmeric powder and red chilly powder and saute well.
- now add the soya chunks to it and mix well so that the masala make a coating.
- add salt as required and mix.
IT tastes better with chapathi or naan.
